Food safety policy

Distillati Group’s commitment to food safety is realized through the production of safe products
complying with current food hygiene regulations and compliance with regulations for the
sector of alcoholic beverages and other beverages (syrups and concentrated juices). Suddetto commitment is implemented and
maintained with the continuous updating to the standards, also thanks to the channels offered by the associations of
category, and the consequent adaptation of prerequisites and management systems to what is required, through
the continuous commitment of the company team.

Food safety is implemented and maintained through an adequate traceability system and
the application of the HACCP methodology for the management of potential hazards, repeatedly verified in the field
by the territorial competent authorities, but also through the implementation of a management system for
food safety in accordance with ISO 22000:2018.

Distillati Group carefully nurtures cooperative and informative relationships with customers and suppliers, in
order to ensure an optimal level of the product offered, a wide and diverse product catalog, the
utmost punctuality in deliveries and timeliness in providing the required information.

Over the years, Distillati Group’s suppliers have learned to adapt to the precise requests made by our
managers to meet our qualification criteria, aware also of the fairness and spirit of
cooperation and support that has always been guaranteed to them.

To an even greater degree, we believe that our incumbent clients have always recognized the principles set forth here
over the course of relationships that are often decades in duration, a testament to the quality guaranteed to them.

Specific objectives of the Food Safety Management System (SGSA).

  • Consolidate the capabilities of function managers, particularly the SGSA Manager, with
    training and information programs that develop technical skills, raise awareness and
    improve communication skills;
  • Select and train their staff while also paying attention to motivation and
    awareness;
  • Identify, through careful analysis of the data collected, any opportunities for SGSA to improve;
  • Paying attention to market demands and present innovations in order to always ensure
    greater supply but maintaining high quality, service and product safety;
  • To take extreme care and helpfulness in communicating with customers;
  • Cooperate with the agencies in charge of mandatory and voluntary controls with the utmost transparency and
    attention, taking every opportunity to improve the company’s products and processes.

Commitments to goal achievement and improvement

To ensure achievement and improvement of the goals set forth above, Distillati Group:

  • Carefully assess food safety hazards and risks related to products and processes
    always seeking to reduce risk and maximize opportunities;
  • It examines the context in which it operates in order to adapt its System to it;
  • Identifies relevant stakeholders in order to meet their needs;
  • Establishes an Improvement Plan and a detailed system of Goals and Indicators in accordance with
    Policy;
  • Reviews at regular intervals the Policy, Improvement Plan and Objectives and the performance of
    SGSA in general through the Management Review;
  • Periodically check procedures and the HACCP System in order to prevent any risks and at
    the same time to verify the effectiveness of the measures taken;
  • Promptly handles any potential defects, nonconformities, or complaints;
  • Carefully plan staff training;
  • Continuously inspects premises and facilities to verify that prerequisites are maintained, to avoid
    nonconformities to guarantee safe products.

Management ensures that the Policy is made known to operational staff and relevant stakeholders.
